Winter Farmers Market - check it out first Saturdays of the month starting tomorrow

Check out the Winter Farmers Market at the Wise Hall (1882 Adanac Street) a hop skip and a jump from the Cultch and great Italian supermarket Bosa) from tomorrow and every first Saturday of the month from 10a.m. to 2p.m. free admission through April 2007.

Tomato Fest at East Van Farmers Market

This Saturday, August 19, is the East Vancouver Farmers Market's annual Tomato Festival. All things tomato will be celebrated!

Midnight Kitchen unfortunately won't be selling there this week, but Roland, Junior and I will be there to shop and join in the festivities!

East Van Farmers Market--Open!

The East Van Farmers Market at Trout Lake is open again! As the season progresses there will be more and more fabulous local produce to be purchased but in the meantime, check out the artisans, prepared food vendors and plants for your own garden.


Trout Lake market hours are Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The markets at Riley Park (Wednesday afternoons) and Nelson Park (Saturdays) open in June.

YLFMS Winter Market

The YLFMS Winter Market is this weekend, December 10 and 11 at the Heritage Hall on Main at 15th Avenue. The market will feature a bevy of local artisans as well as some of the food related vendors that are at the outdoor market. The vendors will be different on each of the days, so it'll be fun to check the market out on both days.
