Green Goddess Dressing

1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
3 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/3 cup parsley, finely chopped
1/4 cup green onion, finely chopped
2 Tbsp. fresh herbs (tarragon, basil), finely chopped
1 Tbsp. capers, drained and chopped
1 clove garlic, mashed
Salt and pepper
Combine all ingredients in an airtight container. Season with salt and pepper. For a thinner dressing, add more vinegar or lemon juice
Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
Serve with mixed greens, as a dip for raw vegetables or with steamed vegetables.
Makes about 2 cups
