Lemongrass Pork II

Marinade:
1/4 cup fish sauce
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. dried lemongrass, ground
or 3 stalks fresh lemongrass, ground
1 shallot, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 lb. pork chops, chicken pieces
Combine all marinade ingredients in a large bowl.
Add pork or chicken. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours and up to 24 hours.
Grill over medium heat until meat is cooked through, about 8 minutes per side for pork chops.
Makes enough marinade for 2 lb. meat
