Walked by Jules - a casual French Bistro (216 Abbott Street, 604 669-0033, website soon at www.julesbistro.ca) that just opened this week and spoke with a friendly staff member (chef? owner? regardless a very pleasant person). They feature casual french bistro dining with all the classics like Boeuf Bourguignon and are open for lunch ($9 soup and sandwich special) and dinner Tuesday to Saturday. Congrats on the opening and look forward to trying it.
