    [Roland's note: Thanks Ken. You need your own food blog! Don't worry, we will be converting VanEats to a Bryght site (disclosure: I am founder of Bryght!) before Christmas and that means Ken (and whoever else wants one) will get a free VanEats blog complete with photos just like the members of UrbanVancouver which by the way *gratuitous plug* is a Bryght site *end of plug*. And there will also be tons of other features like an events calendar for food events and a discussion forum so we can discuss things like they do over at eGullet]

    The Splendid Table is a great place to learn all there is about foods, the food industry and people who cook. My favorite feature is their audio archives where you can listen to past shows and interviews with food celebrities, chefs, purveyors and book authors.  The site is an amazing trove of recipes, information and resources.

    If you have Shaw cable you can hook it up to your stereo and tune to 95.1 (or KUOW Seattle FM 94.9 over the airwaves) and listen to Splendid Table on Sunday 1pm.  Or of course anytime on the Web at:
