It's officially summer for me now that the East Van Farmers' Market has started.Saturday's inaugural market took place in our unusually warm and sunny May weather. The vendors change every year and every week (here's the official vendor list)
and there's always something new but the vibe remains the same. People
getting out of the house to get real food that hasn't been overly
processed or shipped thousands of miles. Here are some of East Van Farmers Market opening day photos: The cool sign:
