Casa Dolce (5633 West Boulevard, 604 261-6388) is the latest stop on our "go out as much as possible before baby" tour!We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the desserts and the ambiance. It's a great room to relax in after shopping in Kerrisdale or just to hang out. On to the delicious cakes: Barb had the Lemon Mascarpone Cake for $6.50 (beautiful lemony flavour, we love all things lemony) and I had the Hazelnut Milk Chocolate Cake (great cake and tasty chocolate mousse that was just right and not overly sweet) for $6.95. We'll be back for a full mini-review sometime in the late spring or early summer.
