| First Visit: Rubina Tandoori |

The best wedding food we have ever tasted was served by the folks at Rubina Tandoori (1962 Kingsway, 604 874-3621) at Toni and Kerrie's wedding in 2001. And we have equally loved the food at Rubina Grill at Granville Island.
It was therefore with much anticipation that we finally ate at the restaurant
earlier this week. And we were not disappointed. The food
is traditional, spicy but not too spicy and fairly priced. My
favourite was the Kashmiri Chili Chicken (about $15): first you are
hit with a hot spicy flavour of the chili which fades nicely and segues
to the underlying sweetness of the raisins, tomatoes and nuts (not
mention the tender yummy chicken!). We will be back for a full
mini-review!
