| First Visit: Aurora Bistro |
Posted by Roland Tanglao on 8/30/03; 9:58:49 PM
From the Restaurants dept.
The Aurora Bistro (2420 Main,
604 873-9944) has a wonderful pork tenderloin dish. Glazed
with mustard seed and maple syrup, perfectly cooked, tender and
juicy. And the perfect complement; an apple goat cheese
crisp. This "large" plate ($19) is reason enough for pork fans to
visit the restaurant.
Of course, there are other things on the menu which also pair
unexpected things together and plenty of stuff for vegetarians and non
pork eaters! Such as a delicious chevre cheese cake served with
both a candied ginger and beet compote ($6).
We'll be back!
