Roti Bistro's Excellent Callaloo Soup

It was a pureed soup with a wonderfully spicy flavour. If you order the soup, which is about four bucks, and a double for $2.25 (flatbread stuffed with tasty curried chick peas; available Saturday and Sunday), then you have an excellent meal for under $10! Raspberry Hefe Weizen at the Yaletown Brewing Company

I really enjoyed the limited edition Raspberry Hefe Weizen (made with local raspberries) Friday at the Yaletown Brewing Company (1111 Mainland Street, 604 681 2739). A perfect summer drink. It's a beer yes but it's not beer as you know it. And it doesn't taste like pop either. It's a beautiful combo of flavours that's very refreshing on a summer day. Thanks to the Georgia Straight for the tip about this great beer (too bad I can't find the article online or I would link to it of course). Link: # | Discuss | |
