Recomendo recommends the Rosle Garlic Press but I don't!I am sure that the Rosle Garlic Press is wonderful, but I no longer use a garlic press. I went through a long phase where I smashed garlic with a cleaver. Then, I got bored of smashing the garlic and used a Good Grips Garlic Press (which is wonderfully ergonomic but hard to clean). Finally after watching, an Alton Brown program on garlic on the Food Channel, I vaguely remember him dissing the flavour of garlic from a garlic press. Ever since, I have gone back to smashing it with my cleaver which is much more satisfying and the garlic definitely seems sweeter. What do you think?
