    Admission: $40 Advance tickets until Friday-September 20, 2002

Paul Yee - author and the inaugural winner of the Vancouver Book Prize for Salt Water City, an Illustrated History of the Chinese in Vancouver, and the Governor General's Award for Children's Literature (1996) for Ghost Train.

Proceeds from the dinner will go to support the ACWW Emerging Writer's Award, and other ACWW members' activities, community and educational programs. Feast of Fields
Posted by Barb Wong on 9/7/02; 2:02:07 PM
    From the Farmers' Markets dept.

Tomorrow is Vancouver's 8th annual Feast of Fields, a grand harvest festival and fundraiser for Farm Folk/City Folk. The event, held at the UBC Farm, will feature an extravaganza of locally grown, prepared and brewed food. What a great way to savour the best of local food while supporting a worthy cause!
