I, along with lots of other people, received my free Ben and Jerry's ice cream today as mentioned yesterday. This was a promotion to celebrate their re-launch into Canada.
I am sure Ben and Jerry's is old hat to most people, but I haven't had much exposure to it because I lived in Germany and England from 1992-1998.
The flavour they handed out at 11a.m. when I was in line was Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. This is vanilla ice cream with chunks of "chocolate chip dough". Not bad! Full cream, full flavoured American ice cream. I look forward to buying and trying the Chunky Monkey (banana and chocolate mmm!) someday.
