I am totally addicted to Uprising Breads' (604 254 5635, 1697 Venables, near Ace of Suedes (warning AoS's website has annoying e-commerce popups which fortunately are easily removed!) Whole Wheat Raisin Bread. It's sweet, wonderful and because it's whole wheat almost good for you. Toasted and slathered with peanut butter and washed down with milk or orange juice it's a true power breakfast!
Check it out if you are near Venables and Commercial where they are located; they have all kinds of cool breads and sweet and savoury treats! Luckily I don't have to go all the way to Commercial drive to get my fix since my local Buy-Low on Arbutus carries it.
