Crazy for Mohnkuchen would be another title for this news item!
I am looking for Mohnkuchen (poppy seed cake) like I used to enjoy at the Dornier Kantine when I lived in Germany. I originally posted this question to Andrea's discussion group on June 7 and followed up with a post on DreadNet on June 7.
So, does anybody know of a bakery or restaurant in Vancouver where I can get authentic (whatever that means, I'll be the judge :-) German style Mohnkuchen in Vancouver or the lower Mainland. Or failing that Swiss or Austrian style?
My promise to you. I will leave no Mohnkuchen recommended by our readers untasted :-)
